Michael Bodakowski

Founder and Editor

Michael Bodakowski is an international development professional, currently living in Washington, DC.  He has worked in Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America on issues including media development, civil society, conflict to peace transitions, humanitarian assistance, education, and international aid coordination.  Michael has a Master’s degree  in International Affairs from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and French from the University of Connecticut. He has an interest in languages, cooking, and travel.

Nomadic Mindburst has been an idea in the making for many years – living in Washington, DC, having traveled many places and talked with people around the world, Michael has always been looking for a way to make their voices heard.

Lilit Gasparian


Lilit Gasparian is originally from Armenia. She now lives in Washington, DC and works for an international  development organization. Having grown up in the South Caucasus amidst conflict and political tensions, she experienced firsthand the importance of dialogue and mutual understanding. Lilit has an MBA and bachelors degree in finance and economics. She is fluent in Russian, Armenian, and English.
